Kent has six bingo halls still trading, according to the directory kept by Bingotastic.com, which records every UK club open or closed and checks each against the operator's own listings. Nine more Kent clubs in that directory have closed. What's left is spread unevenly, with the coast and the Medway towns still served while Ashford, Dartford and Sittingbourne have lost theirs.
| Hall | Town | Operator |
|---|---|---|
| Mecca Bingo Thanet | Broadstairs (Westwood Cross) | Mecca |
| Connaught Bingo | Herne Bay | Independent |
| Buzz Bingo Dover | Dover | Buzz Bingo |
| Buzz Bingo Rochester | Rochester (Medway Valley Leisure Park) | Buzz Bingo |
| Buzz Bingo Maidstone | Maidstone | Buzz Bingo |
| Kings Bingo | Sheerness | Independent |
Thanet's club sits at Westwood Cross in Broadstairs. Margate itself no longer has a hall since Beacon Bingo on Marine Terrace closed. Along the coast, Herne Bay keeps Connaught Bingo on Central Parade, one of two independents left in the county on Bingotastic's count, and Dover's Buzz club on Biggin Street covers the far south east.
Buzz runs the Rochester and Maidstone clubs. Chatham has lost its hall. Across on the Isle of Sheppey, Kings Bingo in Sheerness is the other surviving independent.
Ashford lost its Mecca club, and the Bingo Deserts research on the same site measured the nearest alternative, Maidstone, at 16.7 miles away. Sittingbourne and Dartford are without a hall too. For players in those towns, a session now means a drive or a long bus journey.
Session times and prices change, and the clubs set their own. Bingotastic.com keeps a page for each hall with its address and details, and lists the closed clubs as well, so it's worth checking there or ringing the club before setting off. The national picture is in Bingotastic's Great British Bingo Hall Census 2026, which counted 232 halls still open across the UK.
